Healing Consciously
Founder's Message
We all have one story. Sometimes it needs to be told, sometimes it just needs to be felt. Let’s simply be, and let the rest unfold.
Coral-Lei Jane
About Healing Consciously
Life is a heart-led healing space founded by Coral-Lei Jane, a proud Métis woman, intuitive body worker, and trauma-informed yoga teacher. Rooted in ancestral wisdom, movement science, and lived experience, Coral-Lei’s mission is to create spaces where all bodies, regardless of background, pain, or ability, feel safe, seen, and supported.
A Journey of Resilience
After graduating from UBC in 2000 with a degree in Human Kinetics, Coral-Lei has worked as a registered kinesiologist since 2001-2025, supporting individuals recovering PAIN.
Her personal path deepened after surviving a traumatic brain injury (TBI) in 2008, which required her to relearn how to walk and speak. Today, she lives with an invisible disability and speaks openly about how it continues to shape her teaching, compassion, and perspective.
“I’m here to say: it’s okay to move differently. It’s okay to rest. It’s okay to begin again, again and again. Healing is not linear, and it doesn’t have to be perfect to be powerful.”
Cultural Roots & Teaching
As a Métis woman, Coral-Lei weaves traditional teachings, intuition, and reverence for the land into every offering. Her teachings are relational, rooted in Métis values of connection, reciprocity, and respect for the spirit within all things.
She is the founder of Yindalini Yoga, a trauma-informed blend of Yin Yoga, Kundalini-inspired movement, myofascial release, and breathwork, offering support for both the physical body and emotional nervous system.
